We would like to inform that with effective from 1st March 2010, MAA Assurance would implement the Merimen Submission System in addition to our current OneWorks System.
With this implementation our Workshops and Adjusters are having the option of either using OneWorks or Merimen in the Own Damage/Own Damage Knock for Knock/Windscreen claims reporting and report submission.
The implementation schedule in as follows:-
1st March 2010 - All Franchise workshops and Central Zone workshops
1st April 2010 - East Malaysia, Southern and Northern Zone workshops

Message from Uni.Asia General Insurance Berhad To All Franchise workshops:
Please take note that effective 1st February 2010, all submission of documents to Uni.Asia for Own Damage and Own Damage Knock for Knock claims will be done online through the Merimen system. The Insured/ Policyholder will have to submit the complete set of documents stated below directly to the workshop, before the estimate will be able to be sent by the workshops. The documents will be made mandatory or else the system will block the sending of the estimate.
The mandatory documents are:
1. Complete Claim Form filled by the Insured
2. Registration Card ( both sides)
3. Police report (of all parties involved)
4. Insurance policy
5. Driving license of both the Insured / driver
6. I.C. copy of both Insured / driver
7. All photographs of damaged parts
The following documents will also be required to be sent if available:
8. Hire Purchase agreement
9. Police Investigation Result and sketch plan and key
