Please be informed that with effective from 16th January 2012, all Third Party Property Damage claims are to be submitted through Merimen system to enable us to handle the claims more effectively. We will not accept any manual claim submission and should there be any manual submission after the dateline, we will return the hardcopy to the handling workshop/solicitor with instruction that all Third Party Property Damage claim correspondence should be uploaded through the Merimen system.
The following mandatory documents are required to be submitted through Merimen system :-
1. Claimant’s covering letter with breakdown of claim
2. Claimant’s policy schedule
3. Claimant’s vehicle registration card (front & back)
4. Claimant’s NRIC and driving license (Owner and Driver)
5. Claimant’s police report
6. Our insured’s police report
7. Police report lodged by other third parties (if any)
8. Police result of investigation
9. Police sketch plan & keys
10. Original adjuster report and adjuster fees receipt
11. Original receipt for excess/underinsured and bills
12. Original receipt/estimate for cost of repair
Upon receipt of the abovementioned documents, we shall no doubt give the claim our further attention.
